I don't normally follow tennis, but I got a text from my Mom's friend, Jeannette, that Djokovic (winner of this year's Wimbledon) switched to a gluten free diet and credits some of his success to changing his diet to avoid gluten. And then I started reading a little bit about athletes that have gone g-free and I found out that the Garmin Tour De France team is going gluten free during this year's tour (I do follow cycling a bit). And I was so excited that I decided to share the info with you! Thanks for the inspiration Jeannette!!
Here are a few articles on athletes and teams of athletes that have recently started eating gluten free to improve athletic performance.
